Tickets for the suburban train can be obtained at following points of sale

> At the Korinthos (Corinth) train station

I doubt that suburban tickets can be bought at kiosks or other tickets points of sale throughout the city. I think this is due to their price (6 euros each).
Another good idea, if someone is going to spend many days in town, is to buy a monthly card for use in all public transport (buses, metro, tram, trolley-buses, suburban) for 38 euros. That is only if you are staying for many days and you intend to use the public transport daily. Otherwise it will not be justified.
To buy such a card you can do it at certain issuing public-transport kiosks, for example at Syntagma Square (in front of the Post Office). A small passport photo is needed for the card issue.
For other type of tickets, (for example the "ENIEON" which is valid for approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes and is valid for all the public transport means) or for a weekly ticket (7 day ticket) or daily ticket (24 hours) you can ask the issuing kiosk at Syntagma.
