Standing where the first known European stood 20.000 years ago, visiting a tiny whitewashed church in an enormous red walled crater, thinking about the secrets of a small pyramid and smelling the incense in a beautiful old monastery, fills me we awe and wonder. If life can be enjoyed only by experiencing ”the biggest” or ”the best” or even ”the most famous”, I would call it a poor and sad life.

So why this hostility, dear Kratylos? What are you trying to prove? My intension was just to give a small taste of what this region has to offer, and even if people naturally don’t come her only to see, lets say, the bridges of Arkadiko, the bridges are there, one of them even in sight driving from Nafplio to Epidavros. Why not stop, walk where men has walked in thousands of years, maybe pick a little spring flower, and see that the stones of the bridge is laid with just as much love as the stones in Epidavros. Isn't that amazing!
