Hey!
Practice, practice makes the master..... ![]() I guess we all "Kalimistas" manhandle the english language more or less successfully when in Greece... As for Pigadia´s own beach, it has worked fine for me and in time they might even make it better, shifting out the pebbles, stones, cleaning, adding showers&toilettes, , etc.... me being not too interested in beaches as such..... ...on the other hand I can surely understand others interest in them.Apart from the town-beach I have visited and swum at Amopi and also taken a dip or two at the beach adjacent to Taverna under the Trees, thats about it for me, beach-wise,......a not-to-good-beach-list I readily admit after some 18-20 visits to Karpathos.... And once Xroni Panaretos took me diving at the northern part of Amopi Bay , very clear waters!! Hope to better myself next time on Karp and add to my too-short-beach-list, though! Thanx for your tips and welcome on Kalimera , Kratylos! Good beach-hunting and keep us stuck in Sweden informed here on Kalimera! Mikke |

Citat:
![]() I agree to what you said about Pigadia beach , with some improvements it would get better... Ammopi in my opinion , though it gets crowded some times in the summer , it is still very clean (both water/sand). I have also swimmed north of ammopi like you did , and i find it wonderfull!!(and you can see if you swim a bit deeper many Skaropoula fishes!) PS: @ Karin thanks for telling me , i allready sent a PM to Mike |
